One Rec - concept by Jue The One Rec module is an additional module to the One Zero and the One Point modules, while this are only players the One Rec module is a recorder also. With this module you could record gates or cv signals from conventional sequencers and automatically write them down in a simple text file. On top of the module you got inputs for the clock and the reset signal, the module goes forward by the incoming clock step by step. The reset forces the module to its start state and also stops any recording without saving the resulting text file. The input works with Gate or CV signals within a range from -10v to 10v. Below there are two radio buttons to select what kind of text file you want to record. Gate Rec results in a text file for the One Zero just with 1 or 0 only, while the Cv Rec selection results in a text file for the One Point module with a range from -10v to 10v. If you need to record the Gate and the CV signals from a performance just use two One Rec modules. Below this record selector you will find the REC / Play section were you could start recording by pressing the REC button and stop the recording by pressing the Play button. For some more automatic handling there are two inputs for gate signals to select REC or Play. When you start recording the next clock signal forces the module to measure and hold the input signal like a simple S&H , writes this step value to the text file and waits for the next clock to repeat the step and so on. When set to GATE REC writes a 0 while the signal is in the range from 4.99 v to -10v and a 1 while in the range 5v to 10v. When set to CV REC it writes the value within a range from -10v to 10v. When you hit play the module writes a text file to a destination folder, that could been set from a menu option, and starts to play this file in a loop as long as the clock is running. To avoid to overwrite an existing file each time a new text file is written a new name is generated. If you want to play the new recording from the beginning just send a reset signal and the module jumps to the beginning and plays from there with the next clock signal. At the lower end there are the output jacks for the EOL and the OUT. Just an Idea

Hi Bret, Please, is it possible to reduce the trigger voltage to +5V (instead of +10V, actually), for clock input, in future plugin release? Hey Bret./ I notice that in the pop-up menu I miss the possibilty to Copy all settings of the paramaters from a certain channel. I can clear, and set all knobs to a certain value, but it would be really handy to copy all settings of the Parameter Locks in one go to another channel. So copy all steps and copy all steps including Param Locks would be awesome.

One other thing: would it be possible to reload an updated txt file without using the right click menu and file dialog? That would make it a lot easier to listen to changes on the fly without so much interruption.
